A Familiar Place Reworked

In the seventh year of the reign of Caesar the 14th, I made my first visit to the Roman city of Bath. The spa town featured a number of interesting tourist destinations. Apart from the architecture and the spectacle of chariot races up on Claverton Down, there was also the spa where all manner of illnesses could be cured by water from the hot springs. My reasons for coming here however were not to waste time on such things, but to procure a first copy print of the book “herbal remedies” by Aristos Copernicus.
