Pretend there's a planet that is entirely covered in ocean where two suns make their way across the sky and six moons rise and fall, in unending rhythms. Life exists under the water, and some aquatic beings have evolved to linger on the surface and dive again. They are wise, having surveyed the skies and charted the mysteries of the depths.
You find yourself there too, like them, floating on the surface, and able to breathe underwater with your eyes looking down into the depths. As you float suspended at the interface everything is peaceful, everything is silent. Every now and then you see a rising multitude of bubbles released from the submerged structures of this alien world. You let the bubbles rise around your body and feel their gentle massage.
You raise your head and see the surface of the sea in the rosy light from the old suns, and you notice other floating creatures—just humps above the water—also peacefully living in this interface zone, also surveying the depths. There is no wind today, there is nothing that needs to be done. Your mind can truly be silent.
