The Power of Nature

I am the water, turbulent, directed, falling from your skies, cutting away at the layers of your mountains and overflowing your tiny flood-prevention measures. I raise my waves higher than your container ships.

I am the wind hurling the shredded remains of your barns and houses, broken fragments now swirling in the vortices of my hurricanes and tornados. You struggle to walk against my unpredictable gusts.

I am the sun blazing down onto your desert towns—once muddy ground now cracked and dry. I send my heat in waves, now scorching your body as you drive yourself forward towards an oasis.

Now I am the sun you worship on your beaches. I am the source of all your life energy. Without me you would perish. I am the wind that cools your brow, and I am the water that satisfies your thirst. I am the stuff from which you are made.

I am nature and you belong to me.
