Train

Sitting in the train looking through the window as rain pelted down, I watched the fields and lines of trees fly by with their constantly changing perspectives. My destination was London Euston, where I expected to meet Sarah. I took another sip of my rather too hot cup of tea. The lady sitting across from me had a small dog nestled on her lap, thankfully staying quiet. Thinking of my dog left at home, I hoped she would be fine and not pining for me or fighting with the cat. The train lurched suddenly and I spilled tea on my dress. Drat.
